Ideal location to discover all the charms of the city on foot. The apartment is located in a historic building with more than 100 years of history recently renovated where part of the original structure and architectural elements of the original building were respected, witness to the first twinning of two cities in the world (TOLEDO AND TOLEDO DE OHIO) Apartment for 11 people, 125 m2 with 4 bedrooms, 3 doubles and one single, equipped kitchen, large living room, 2 bathrooms, large windows to the main street. The building has 2 apartments, being able to book a 4-bedroom apartment or a set of 2 apartments in total 8 bedrooms (21 beds) This apartment is located on the second floor of the building with elevator 2 bedrooms with double bed 1 room with 2 beds 1 room with 1 bed 2 very comfortable sofa beds in the living room 2 full baths We have cots for babies The accommodation is equipped with air conditioning with heat pump, washer / dryer, refrigerator / freezer, microwave, complete kitchenware, drip coffee maker, extractor hood, towels, shampoo, soap and bedding and TV in all rooms FREE WIFI (fiber) Smoking - allowed Arrival between 21:00 and 23:00 is subject to 35 late arrival fee. Toledo is well connected by its network of roads as well as by train and by air. It is located 45 min. of Madrid capital. Nearest airport is Madrid Barajas, which is only 50 minutes from Toledo (M-40 direction A-42 (Autovía de Toledo). By Train: Renfe AVE departs from Atocha station in Madrid, it takes 25 minutes. 1-Once at the train station, to reach the historic city center on foot (15 minutes walking), the route is very nice through the bridge of Alcantara and the Doce Cantos door, but it has stairs and slopes in the last stretch, if you carry heavy luggage it is more comfortable to return), or taking one of the urban buses that will pick you up and leave you in the center (Zocodover / Army Museum) ), we are located only 150 meters away You can also take a taxi, it's not expensive, about € 7. The living room/dining room is spacious and reasonably furnished. The bedrooms are adequate. Although there are 2 bathrooms, the second, smaller bathroom is ensuite with the smallest single bedroom, so it is really not usable by any other person. Thus, a "2 bath apartment" is really only 1 bath plus another rather unusable bath. The apartment is located in the very busy main square, Plaza de Zocodover, which is closed to cars during the day, so one cannot drive directly to the apartment except before 10am on Sunday. Therefore, any visitors must be dropped off in the square and find their way down the street to the apartment. And note that, although there is an elevator, it is for only 1 person at a time and is quite difficult to use since it will not stop at the correct floor if the door is pushed or even if someone leans against the wall of the elevator -- it is like a narrow tube. We ended up taking the 2 flights of stairs up and down, making it difficult with the luggage. The checkin procedure was adequate although the agency representative did not speak English and all communication had to be done by translation on the phone. This apartment is fine for those who will accept these caveats and can make for an enjoyable stay in Toledo. ##### Jane M. Stayed 2 nights in Dec 2023 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Jan K. It is quite large with four separate bedrooms, a living/dining room and separate kitchen with dining area. The apartment had double windows throughout which made it very quiet despite being on the main street in the old town. It also had individual air air conditioning units throughout so each room could be kept at the temperature the occupants liked. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again! Before our arrival, Ana gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. If arriving by train you can take a city bus to the main square (Plaza de Zocodover) and it’s a short flat bag drag to the apartment from there. ##### Jan K.
