I did not get any house keeping service at all. The non-smoking room smelled like smoke. The water pressure was not up to par.

Good stay in Maumee!
The room was clean and serviced with fresh towels every 2 days. Convenient to several good restaurants and freeway access was within 3 minutes. TV options were broad. Management was diligent about maintenance.

This wasn't my first time staying at this property, and won't be my last. The hotel on the exterior is no frills, but each room is very clean and comfortable. Can't go wrong with Americas Best, when you're on a budget anywhere in the country

The man at the front counter was somewhat rude. He did not greet us when we entered the lobby and when my wife greeted him he rudely asked for her I.D. with no other words. There was nothing pleasant about his tone and he seemed almost bothered that we were there. Luckily no further interaction was required. This is our 3rd stay there so we are return customers. I had never encountered him before and don't know if he was the owner. On a positive note the room was clean and met our needs perfectly. The location is nicely located near many good dining and shopping places. I would stay there again based on that.

The man at the front desk was nice as was the price. The property itself was kind of in a run down area. The room had a slight smell of cigarette smoke but it wasn’t terrible. The knob to the shower broke right off so we were able to take a shower, just not a warm one. Thankfully we were just passing through and were only using the room for 8 hours.

Nice place great price tv was not working right but the manager came up in minutes and fixed it close to restaurants and the stranahan theater we will be back

I went to check in, using the confirmation number provided when I made the reservation. The clerk could find nothing related to my reservation, so I left and went somewhere else. He was very unhelpful and completely unsympathetic.

I am going to be completely honest here, the good and the bad. First the good. We were going to arrive after midnight so we called along the way to arrange for a late check in and the night staff was very accommodating and pleasant when we arrived. There was descent parking and the area felt safe, we found the room clean and no bugs (a BIG issue for me). Also I left some items behind in the room and I was able to get them back a few days later very easily. NOW for the bad. The biggest issue were the beds. This is by far the most uncomfortable bed I have ever tried to sleep in. It was even uncomfortable to sit on! My niece commented that it felt more like a box spring than a mattress and that is exactly how I would describe it! We had decided to just get some drinks from the vending machine when we got there and save time by not making another stop. No luck there, the vending machines were turned off. After a long sleepless night, the next morning I just wanted to shower and get back on the road. We booked the room for 4 adults and realized that there were only 2 washcloths and 3 towels! So ok, coffee first. Nope, no coffee pot in the room. So down to the front desk for towels, wash cloths and hopefully coffee and maybe drinks from the machine. No such luck! Machine is still off, no coffee in the lobby, asked for towels and wash cloths and still didn't get them. Housekeeping also needs to clean the showers! Ours had mold and mildew on the walls and shower curtain.

Comfortable despite the early am wake-up call
The room was comfortable and clean. The check-in clerk was polite and quick. The frig had no freezer but kept things cold. There was no breakfast as shown in the pictures, and it certainly was not there fault the power went out at 2:30 am causing the smoke alarm to sound. The evening clerk did handle the situation quickly.
