The front desk staff rotated constantly but everyone of them was helpful and spoke English. Help us figure out how to ship our luggage to our next hotel in Kyoto and even filled out the forms for us. It was located within such close proximity of the temple, great shopping, the station was a few blocks away and a bakery was on the corner. They speak good English and go out of their way to help you. Overall, room was nice and enough for the 4 of us. Property and room felt a bit outdated but for its price and location you can't beat it.
