We were in a luxury room the first night. It was amazing. Then we were in a regular room for groups and it was also great but smaller and slightly fewer extras. Both were outstanding.
It’s well positioned and a nice 4 stars hotel, I don’t unterstand how it got the 5th star. Anyhow, it’s clean, staff nice, but updates need to be made, bathroom looked old.
Check in/check out was easy. Great breakfast options. Clean and comfortable room. Staff was professional and helpful, especially when I needed a taxi to get to certain places. They have preprinted cards with barcode and name of the place to give to the driver so they know where to take you. Lobby was decorated beautifully. Great shopping options at walking distance from hotel. Overall my stay at Keio Plaza was wonderful and I recommend it to anyone staying in Tokyo.
This is our hotel of choice whenever we visit Tokyo, Japan! They added a new lounge on the 47th floor which is huge and offers a place to relax and to hang out. Premium Lounge service is excellent as always.
Amazing location. Our room overlooked the metropolitan government building that featured an incredible light show every evening. Super convenient access to public transportation, dining, shopping, & major, sightseeing attractions. Staff was responsive to all of our requests. Highly recommend.
Self contained resort hotel with on site restaurants, close to shinjuku station, and fuji views from room on 25th floor south tower, ask for 2568 or close..sushi, hibatchi, chinese, hot pot on site..

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Wouldn’t recommend at all! The stuff are extremely rude and the rooms are very old with a horrible smell. The listing on Expedia is very deceptive & to be honest I should be compensated.
Loved the hotel, was easy to check in and out and rooms were good. Only issue we ran into on the entire stay was laundry rooms being full when we were running low on clothes. Other than that the breakfast at both locations was good and the ease of getting to Shinjuku station to get around was great! The staff was friendly and with the airport limousine having a stop directly at Keio Plaza Hotel we were able to get back and forth easily. Would recommend staying here if first time in Japan or Tokyo area!
Extremely helpful staff. Very comfortable firm bed and good quality bedding. Convenient service such as luggage storage, delivery service. Would definitely recommend to anybody!
Great location, service was attentive and their convenience store was perfect for drinks and snacks. It’s also open till 2 am so very helpful for almost anytime that you need. Also has a coin laundry available.
Great location minutes from Shinjuku station. Went to Tokyo for the Marathon and this was the ideal location. Directly adjacent to the start gate. Staff and amenities were great. Room was spacious and well outfitted. Would stay here again.
Keio Plaza Hotel at Shinjuku is our default choice whenever we visit Tokyo. The spacious room, the convenience of its location, as well as the excellent transportation options to airports and Disney Resort are among the key reasons for us to always come back to this hotel. It is already like our second home.
I feel safe in this hotel and in the neighborhood near it. The coin-operated laundry was a good bonus. I've been in the laundry room twice after midnight and each time, staff was cleaning the machines. Amazing! Great staff, very friendly and responsive.
The room furniture and the bath was old. The pc s in business center were out of order and the printer was not working. When I asked for help the Reception said sorry but we dont have any other printer so we cannot help you
We stayed at the hotel for three nights, and were very pleased with the condition of the hotel and the rooms. The staff was extremely professional and courteous. We had booked a club level room and had our breakfast in there each day which we really enjoyed because it was very quiet and relaxing. the drinks in the evening were also lovely and we enjoyed the view of the city.
Our only disappointment with the hotel came our next to last day there. The day of our departure we had to leave quite early for the airport at 5 AM which was well before breakfast was available. The evening before I had requested the staff if they could provide a bagged breakfast for us so we could have that during the long ride back to the airport the next morning. They said that was a very unusual request and could not do that for us. We have traveled all over the world and have stayed in many hotels, and we have never been told it was an unusual request. It has been our experience that every hotel is happy to provide a box or bag breakfast for guests to enjoy. It’s only for that reason that I am rating the hotel four stars instead of five.
Check in counter was rude and cold. We booked the executive floor room and expected we will check in thru the executive lounge but checkin counter person did not ask us and we asked if we can check in thru the VIP. But his response was cold and rude and we did not expect cold and rude service from Keio plaza. Their room is spacious and lounge was cheap in experience and less warm then Cerulion tower hotel. We will not stay at this place next time. We will definitely choose Cerulion tower, and no other high end hotel meet the high bar of Cerulion tower. Definitely, Keio plaza met short, bad customer service but expensive hotel.
Great location and really good rooms. Impressed with the room having phone chargers and multi plug adapters. Only down side for us was airport transfer. The hotel provides links to companies but does not organise for you. Not a big thing but when arriving at 1am it’s nice to know the hotel is there for you.
Nice hotel in a quiet area near the busy shopping district of shinjuku. Room is small but clean and comfortable. Nice staff, a lot of restaurants within the hotel. Close to subway.
