The beds were very comfortable and that was the best part. The room was not fully clean and the bidet was not fully functional. That said, if you expect a hostel type hotel, it was actually not bad. There is no elevator. But for Shinjuku/Tokyo the price was good and it was quiet. The shower was great and there is a fridge and a kettle. Compared to many other hotels this was very cheap and you get what you pay for. But for us who only sleept there and spent the rest of our time in the city this was very good for the price. Especially considering that it had a great location and you got a really cool view of Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building as soon as you stepped out from the entrance. I attach a picture. We only meet a staff at one moment during our stay, but she told us that we could use the umbrellas that was outside the entrance. That saved our day! It’s a bit of a walk. Also there is no elevator so if you have again big luggage, it’s a work out to bring them up and down. Bathroom is very small. Room is also quite small.
