The house was clean, the host was extremely friendly, and when we arrived there was a bowl of treats awaiting us. One of the doors to the bedrooms was broken but after notifying the owner he was prompt in his response and promised to fix it. We also were able to meet the owner as we left and he was super kind and offered to not only drive us to the airport but also let us stay a little later in the house while waiting for taxis since it was so hot outside. ##### Lexi E. Hong was an excellent and friendly host. He stopped by and dropped off cookies for us and was very responsive to any questions we hd. We had 10 family members in our party and we all had beds and were very comfortable. The house everything you need for a comfortable stay in Tokyo. We were very busy and traveled throughout Toyko and beyond. The subway is easily accessible from the house and it provided an oasis to return to after a busy day in Tokyo. It is up a bit of a hill so be aware if you have those with reduced mobility. The house was clean with lots of amenities. Good contact from the host, who was friendly and messaged regularly. The only slightly weird thing was there was a decibel alarm in the living room, which honestly felt a bit big brother and intrusive, but I guess they have had bad experiences in the past with people not being respectful of the neighbours and making excessive noise. It’s not a deal breaker and won’t be a problem if you aren’t making lots of noise and just generally being respectful human beings, but we have two small kids including a baby which meant it did go off when they cried, which wasn’t very helpful in all honesty. It wouldn’t stop me staying again, but it would have been nice to know it would be there and explain why so we could be prepared for it. This is my first reservation on Vrbo, but Hong was very polite and quick reply on messages, so I was not worried at all. We changed the numbers of travelers halfway, and Hong was willing to respond, thank you very much! The room was bigger than I thought and my friends they all were particularly satisfied. Everything was modern, clean and supplies (toiletries, slippers, towels, kitchen basics, tea, coffee, creamer) were plenty for our group of 6 stay for three nights. Washer-dryer all in one unit on third floor. Two toilets and two showers (one Western and one Japanese style) in the home. The home book explained everything about the home and how to operate all the appliances making it easy for all of us to feel at home. There is a security camera at the front door. Communications with the host was often and clear (before checkin, at checkin, close to the end of the stay, at the end and immediately after our stay). The area is nice. A quiet neighborhood walking distance (going to is easy, coming back is a little harder as it is uphill back to the home) to a small town with a convenience store, pachenko, small restaurants and bars and a yummy bakery. There are a couple of train stations close by and we found it very easy to get to larger Shinjuku and Tokyo. Need to walk closer to town to attract a taxi, so we used Uber with ease. Our group stayed in a capsule, a Ryokan, a western style hotel, and this home on our visit to see relatives. This home was our favorite. I hope we are privileged enough to return to Japan soon. We will definitely see if we can return to this home. Thank you. ##### Doris D. The bed room was also very comfortable. Good for daily necessities, wide shared space, suitable for large groups.
