Lot's of excellent eating locations within 10-15 min walking. Very nice public bath on the top floor with natural spring water. There are two wings, East and West. The rooms in the original wing (West, I believe) are getting a bit dated but still quite decent. A couple of proximate restaurants also offer a 10% discount if you show your room key. This is a very slightly higher-end business style hotel and great value. Very accessible, literal steps from Tokushima station and the bus bay. Breakfast is not included, but lots of dining options nearby. Highly recommend the basement floor of Amico for their fresh and affordable sushi and sashimi. This hotel has a hot spring bath on the top floor which is the reason I stayed at this hotel. I stayed with my parents and the room was super spacious for 3 people. My parents also loved the room. The breakfast had a lot of variety of dishes and it was very filling. The search engine recommended hotels in Tokushima, so I booked the Hotel Sunroute. As it looked value for money. The Sat Nav didn’t pinpoint the hotel (opposite the JR Station). But I found it in the end, once I’d parked the car. Reception is located on the 3rd Floor of the hotel. The receptionist was so polite and helpful, couldn’t do more. I was allocated a room on the 10th floor. The room was clean and fairly big. There was no built in Air Con. Rather, this was provided by a mobile unit. This was noisy when switched on. The bed was comfortable. I had breakfast in the hotel. Whilst it was reasonably priced and fresh, it was fairly limited. But edible.
