There is a wonderful park next to the hotel for quiet and relaxing walks. (NB - this is in a remote, isolated area, no shopping or crowds!!). A great place to relax and enjoy with no distractions. A free shuttle will take you from Tokushima Station and return you after your visit. The meals are buffet-style, good variety of Japanese dishes (limited selection of western dishes). Not gourmet but very satisfying. The public baths are wonderful, especially enjoying the outdoors area. There is even a small Karaoke room which can be a lot of fun. Excellent value for money. Our room was spacious with excellent views. The Onsen is particularly relaxing - it is well laid out and the outdoor section allows you to leisurely soak while admiring the view. There are some nice places for walks around the property. The free shuttle to Tokushima station is appreciated. The dinner/breakfast are buffet-style and more than adequate for the price range.
