Age min: must be 25 years or older to book. TENANT: Tofino has a bylaw in place requiring all vacation rentals to have either the owner or a long-term tenant living onsite. In this case, the tenant resides in a separate, detached suite, and the only shared space is the driveway. We loved the decks, hot tub and watching the wildlife. Tofino Vacation Rentals does a great job managing this property. It was very clean, had very comfy beds and nice linens. Some people have noted that the building can use a little maintenance. While this is true, it is clear they are replacing windows and doors and I'm sure it is difficult to keep up with everything on a wooden building. This in no way affected our enjoyment of the property and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. They were all at a very high standard. The host was very helpful by checking in to see if we had arrived and also the following day to see if we needed anything. They were always on hand to communicate with us and because of the time of year provided us with times where they were not available and left us with an emergency contact number. There was an impending storm and they sent us information on how to prepare ourselves for it. There were also emergency supplies provided just in case the power went out. It was our second stay at this beautiful property and would recommend it to anyone who is considering making a booking. We recently rented Pacific Retreat for the long weekend in May to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary with our two daughters and their husbands. All of us were blown away with not only the view but also how spacious the house is! The bedroom pictures don’t do them justice as so much room and storage space available. All bathrooms have full counters with the sinks as well. Every conceivable kitchen tool (and BBQ) ready should one wish to cook! All new appliances etc etc etc. Our host contact (Jacqui) couldn’t do enough for us and responded quickly to all queries. The only thing we needed was extra coffee for the second/third days plus creamer (our preference). Can recommend this facility without hesitation.
