This home is surrounded by a half acre of coastal forest and a beautiful rhododendron garden. It has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, BBQ, private hot tub and an outdoor shower. Two of the bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the main floor and up a flight of stairs is the third bedroom. This is a loft style space with and ensuite and a sitting area to watch TV or to unwind with a book. There is also a laundry room on the main level with a washer and dryer, perfect for groups that stay for a longer visit! After a surfing session or a long beach walk, a hot tub awaits. The kitchen will inspire your cooking or baking skills. The large dining table will be the central spot for everyone to gather and spend time together. Relax in the garden by the fire pit surrounded by cedar benches to experience starlit evenings. Enjoy post dinner board games, a quiet evening in the library or playing the piano. The acoustics in this room are awesome! Chesterman Beach is named one of the best beaches in Canada and a popular spot for locals and tourists alike! Nestled off the road you are close to the action and minutes from listening to the crashing waves The Wickaninnish Inn, a short walk either by beach or by road, has a five star restaurant for any meal of the day. The beachside cafe is a lovely spot for morning coffee or visit the fabulous Ancient Cedars Spa which sits on the rocks at the edge of the Pacific Ocean. Take a short drive or enjoy a leisurely 45 minute walk into the village of Tofino, where you will find world class restaurants, surf shops, boutiques and art galleries. Your stay at Coastal Haven will be a memorable, authentic west coast experience that will leave you wanting to return again and again. Host Rules: Renter's Agreement: Guests must sign the Renter's Agreement to confirm their reservation. Age Requirement: Guests must be 25 years or older to make a booking. Guest Limit: In accordance with Tofino regulations, short-term rentals may not accommodate more than 6 guests, including infants and children. Peak Summer Season (July and August): A 3-night minimum stay is required. All bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps. We do allow a 2-night stay only if there is a 2-night opening. If you receive a "host unavailable" message despite seeing availability, please contact us. Our booking system has specific rules and may require manual adjustments. Canadian Statutory Holidays: A 3-night minimum stay applies for all Canadian statutory holidays (Must be Friday to Monday). Discounted Rates: We offer discounted rates for month-long stays only during our low season (January-March 15). Pet Policy: We are dog-friendly with a maximum of 2 dogs, subject to the owner's approval (sorry, no cats). On-Site Tenant: A long-term tenant lives on-site in a separate caretaker suite, as required by Tofino Bylaws. Quiet Hours: Strict 10 PM – 8 AM policy. Please respect our neighbors and the local community. Any noise complaints may be subject to additional fee's. Cancellation Policy: We offer a 30-day cancellation policy. If you cancel with 30 days' notice, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made without the required notice will not be refunded. We do not move or adjust reservations within the 30-day notice period. The home is so thoughtfully appointed and it is stunning! The layout is great. They have everything you could need and it is decorated with such love. It truly feels like the best kind of home away from home. The outside landscape is so dreamy. The garden, the sauna and even an outdoor shower. Chesterman beach is a short walk away and there are cute coffee shops and dining nearby along a nice walking path. The hot tub was great and if it had been nicer weather, the outdoor fire pit area would have been a fun place to hang out. This is my fourth year staying at Coastal Haven and I will keep coming back. Love this quiet location with quick access to the beach and a short drive to Tofino. The layout of the home, the fully stocked kitchen and the large dining table are perfect for a group of friends or family. The space is always clean and contains all the amenities we need.
