Located within walking distance to Cox Bay (approx. 10 min), one of Tofino's renowned surf beaches, Cedar Sands is a custom built, rustic, three bedroom house. There are two comfortable bedrooms located on the main floor, plus a charming loft-style bedroom upstairs ( third floor)—perfect for kids or anyone who loves a cozy, elevated space. The home features two bathrooms: a shared bathroom with a stand-up shower, and a private ensuite with a deep soaker tub, ideal for unwinding after a day of adventure. Enjoy the open-concept fully stocked kitchen that flows seamlessly into the living room, offering plenty of space to play games, read a book, share a meal, or gather around the cozy wood-burning fireplace. Gather around the outdoor fire pit, where the kids can enjoy roasting marshmallows while the adults unwind and soak in the joy of quality family time. Relax in the newly added wood barrel sauna — perfect after a day of exploring Tofino and all it has to offer. I love cooking, so the kitchen is always an important part for me, and didn't disappoint. Everything you need to make your meals. We also loved the different options we had for making coffee, not just your typical drip coffee machine. The house felt vary spacious, which it was great since the weather was very wet and cold (typical Tofino), so we spend a bit of time indoors. However the sound of rain and sitting in the hot tub was lovely. They also provided a few options of board games, another great touch. The beds were comfortable, lots of blankets to keep you cozy, however the house temperature was always very comfortable. We didn't really need anything extra, however Danielle made sure to let us know that her team was available in case we needed something. The house had everything we needed for our weekend stay.
