Bayside vacation home with kitchen and patio
The Blue Heron Guest House is a 3 bedroom custom built home overlooking Jensen's Bay in Tofino. Exceptional wood detailing, skylights, vaulted ceilings, private hot tub and gas fireplace.

An inlet waterfront retreat situated on 1.5 acres overlooking Jensen's Bay. Directly across from South Chesterman Beach, Jensen's Bay is a significant flyway for migratory birds.

A seating area at water's edge is a great place enjoy a quiet cup of coffee in the early morning and a perfect vantage point for sighting eagles, herons and other bird species. Occasionally you may spot a bear foraging across the tidal flats.

Towering cedars complement the property. Other wood was milled and transformed into the home's posts and beams. Chesterman Beach is ideally located a 5 minute walk for surfing, beach combing, dog walks or an early evening stroll to take in the iconic West Coast sunsets.

Tofino is 5km away and accessed by road or a well maintained, paved multi-use pathway. The path connects Tofino and the town of Ucluelet and provides ready access to beaches and Pacific Rim National Park.

Just up the road (1184 Pacific Rim Hwyt) is a collection of shops for groceries, yoga, surf rentals, great local food (Wildside Grill & Tacofino), coffee/espresso/baked goods (The Tofitian) and chocolate .....Tofino style. The town of Tofino is a short drive (5 km) so a car would be ideal. In summer, a free (and surfboard friendly!) shuttle service runs between Tofino and Cox Bay. You can hop on and off at several points along the route, including 2 stops close by.

This rental is perfect for a quiet retreat or family vacation - ideally suited for 4-6 guests.

Superbe endroit paisible
Un lieu paisible et méditatif ! Très reposant et silencieux on entend les oiseaux du matin au soir. La maison est propre et super fonctionnelle avec le bain tourbillon pour relaxer au retour des randos . Elle est à quelques minutes de Chesterman Beach et 10 min du village de Tofino. Les propriétaires sont très gentils, discrets et collaboratifs. Je la recommande fortement. 😊

A perfect little piece of paradise
The Blue Heron Guest House had everything we needed for a wonderful 5-day stay with friend and family. So close to Chesterman Beach, it was an easy walk for my old golden retriever. The birds were serenading us the whole time. Kelly was super helpful and everything was so clean. Would love to come back another time!

You couldn't ask for more!
We had a phenomenal time staying at the Blue Heron Guest House. It was equipped with all of the comforts of home, was clean, and had an easy check-in process. While this wasn't my first time visiting Tofino, staying at the Blue Heron made this visit certainly one of my top 3 visits. The hot tub, fire pit, view of the estuary, and 5 min walk to Chesterman beach made ALL the difference in our expectations of how we'll visit Tofino next time. We hope to stay here again and look forward to it! Thanks for having us Kelly!

Perfect getaway
Our family of four recently had a wonderful stay at Blue Heron Guest House. The location is beautiful and convenient. We were able to walk to Chesterman Beach, and enjoyed the setting in nature. The property is meticulously maintained, and had all the amenities we needed. Great communication from the owners, and a wonderful staying experience. Highly recommend!
