Off the beaten track, but easy enough to get to some fun places around. House was cozy as you can ask for, wood stove, wood paneling, comfy bed and a couch you can doze off while listening to the fire crackling. Do be aware that you're not in a very good cell-signal area, as we got a bit turned around heading around the nearby park, and some of the "roads" marked on Google Maps are actually snowmobile trails that Google thinks are roads. It was a bit damp due to humidity and portables not being enough. Great communication with Matt who wanted to discuss the stay with us so he can make changes for future guests. In 2020, some minor updates were needed, like a duct taped screen door and stained/burn holes in carpeting. This year unfortunately, same things could use attention as well as the sewage smells. It was perfect for my husband, myself and our two teens. There were plenty of fun things to do, and we enjoyed poker night and old school arcade games. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the air fryer and the electric skillet. Not having to chop our own wood was a plus. We went fishing nearby at Raystown lake and Trough creek state park We didn’t catch anything (except a few dead fish) but we would love to come back and try again. We would probably hire a boat tour next time to get to know the area. The visitor center at Eaystown was super helpful. Can’t wait to go back! ##### Robyn W.
