Check in was done by a 3rd party and took over 1 hour. The host did not disclose that the amenities cost extra and I spent an additional $150 on the pool for 4 people during my stay. The property also smelled musty and an air purifier was needed to sleep in one of the rooms which we also purchased. We also got locked out at 1am because the battery powered lock failed. The host said we were "lucky" he was still awake because he was about to go to sleep. What were we to do then? We had trouble getting into the house because the batteries on the door lock had died. I called and was answered promptly and we were in before anyone got cold.
