"The house was clean and well-stocked to cook. Beds were comfy and the AC worked when power wasn’t out. House manager Jeanette was so awesome — communicative, friendly, helpful. She also rents golf carts to 18 and our teens loved zipping around Hopkins and having some freedom. The seaweed was pretty bad at our house but plenty of docks a couple houses away to access the ocean."

The rooms are clean, cozy, and just steps from the sea. The staff? Absolutely incredible — friendly, helpful, and full of local tips that made our trip even better. Special shout out to Yoli, Leticia and Micah, who ensured our every need was met. Whether you’re looking to relax by the water, explore nearby jungles and waterfalls, or dive into local culture, Parrot Cove is the perfect home base. "Our family vacation of 8 adults and 9 children was fantastic. The pool was perfect for many volleyball games and enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards provided. We used chef Aaron for 5 of the 7 dinners and was outstanding. Ellen was there to help with anything including help organizing a special 50th anniversary party. Thanks to all for a memorable stay"

"The Sandpiper Cabanas are a wonderful place to stay in Hopkins! The units are lovely with full kitchens, comfortable beds and outdoor seating (along with lots of chairs and loungers directly on the beach). There are plenty of nearby restaurants with local fare within walking distance, but if you’d like to venture further there are bikes available for guests. The owner Arlene is lovely and hospitable offering lots of suggestions for dining and activities. I am a woman traveling solo and I felt very safe and at ease at this property and in the town. I highly recommend the Sandpiper for a relaxing and beautiful stay. "
