Kudos for having the delicious flavored milk vending machine outside the public baths not all Ryokans have it and should be a must. Delicious food, beautiful scenery from the open bath."

"On the plus side, the cottage we stayed at was spacious and well-equipped. Unfortunately walls are paper-thin and there's no blinds/curtains in the main room (the big top window) which isnt great in a country like jpn where the sun rises at 4-5am for most of the year."
