"It is a nice place in a quiet cottage community. Beautiful area, easy access to walking trails right at back of property. There is a communal deck at the front entrance if you want to enjoy the view of the sunset over the bay. Also 2 chairs down on the beach that we used. Really enjoyed paddling around the bay in the kayaks that the owner made available for our use. We did have to carry the kayaks down to the water and across the road (about 100 metres) but road is not busy & speed limit is low...

"Just driving up the driveway to this incredible vacation home i knew we were going to have the perfect getaway. "Gorgeous new structure. Large great room with lake view. Very private with no other cottages in sight. Plenty of room for our doggies to run although they spent most of the time tethered since they are prone to wander! The beach is quite rocky but again very private so bring the water shoes. The private road in front is great for long walks with plenty of folks walking and exercising. It was a very pleasant experience for all of us and left us many fond memories. Highly recommended."

Right outside the backyard is a nice new playground and park area, which is great if you have small children. "I booked a 3 night stay through Expedia. I paid for a pool view room but Expedia sent the hotel my reservation for a parking lot view. The reception desk made it right and put us in a pool view room at no extra charge. The hotel has both an indoor pool and outdoor pool. We used both…plus the hot tub and dry sauna. Clean towels are provided at both pools. The main beach was a two minute drive away. Lots of places to eat that you can walk to. It’s directly across from the famous Lord Elgin Fish and Chips restaurant and right next to Boston Pizza and Wendy’s. A full breakfast was included that had eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt and different types of breads. If you forget anything there’s a Walmart and Canadian Tire you can walk to. Beds were comfortable. Friendly and efficient staff. "
