The 2-storey property consists of a living room, a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom as well as an additional toilet and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi as well as a TV. This vacation rental features a private garden, open terrace, and barbecue area. Englburg is a very quiet village with an impressive castle and is situated on the edge of the Bavarian Forest. You can reach the Bavarian Forest National Park in approx. 30 km. In the animal enclosure near Neuschönau, you can meet the formerly indigenous animals of this forest area such as bears, wolves, lynx, bison, elk and wild boar. Another attraction at the national park is the treetop path, where visitors can walk at treetop level up to the viewing tower and experience the forest from a completely new perspective. There are also numerous hiking trails and cycle paths in the national park. A visit to the three-river city of Passau (25 km) should not be missed during your holiday. 2 parking spaces are available on the property. Pets, smoking and celebrating events are not allowed. Um das Haus herum lädt ein großer Garten zum Verweilen ein und alle Sternegucker kommen des Nachts schon von der Terrasse aus auf ihre Kosten, da es im Ort so gut wie keine Straßenlampen gibt. Das Haus selbst ist neu renoviert und vollständig ausgestattet. Das WLAN flutscht, so dass auch Streaming (am eigenen Laptop) möglich ist. Und da das oben bei der Ausstattung nicht erwähnt ist, aber für manchen doch ein wichtiges Kriterium darstellt: es gibt im Bad auch eine Waschmaschine. Englburg liegt verkehrstechnisch trotz der Abgeschiedenheit so günstig, dass sich mit akzeptablem Fahraufwand sowohl die Gipfel des Bayerischen Waldes, das wildromantische Ilztal oder auch Passau leicht erreichen lassen. Vielfältige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten finden sich im nahen Tittling. Wir können das Ferienhaus Englburg uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.
