'The Beach Retreat' looks out onto Netarts Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The home has five bedrooms and five full baths all en-suite with a 1/2 bathroom off the great room and is perfect for your vacation. This custom-crafted large home includes an ocean-front great room with vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors in the common areas, a spectacular open gourmet kitchen with large granite countertops and hickory cabinets, a spacious dining area, a stone fireplace and expansive windows looking out on the Pacific Ocean. Ask about the home next door as well! Great for 2 families or a family reunion! All bedrooms (sleeping 12) are roomy with vaulted ceilings to make your stay even more relaxed. The primary bedroom features a king size bed, private bath, large closet and full ocean and bay views. What better way to greet the day? The second bedroom has a queen size bed with its own full bathroom, the third and fourth bedrooms also have kings size beds and a full en-suite bathroom, and finally the fifth bedroom has two sets of bunk beds, vaulted ceilings and a full bathroom. All guest bedrooms have plenty of closet space too. All bathrooms have showers with one bedroom also having bathtub, vanities, custom tile, granite countertops and more. You can enjoy long walks on the beach both north and south. To the south you can walk to the town of Netarts, the jetty for the boat launch and the Schooner for lunch or dinner. To the north, you can walk to the town of Oceanside for coffee at Brewing in the Wind, lunch/dinner at Roseanna's or just to take in the beauty. This is a great launching spot for the Three Capes driving loop, day trips north to as far as Cannon Beach, or south as far as Lincoln City. Golf and Wine Tasting are within an hours drive. Three night minimum in June. Weekly Saturday to Saturday rentals only for July/August. No Pets Allowed. No RV Parking. Plenty of Parking! Beach access is right off the deck with unobstructed views of the bay from the entire back of the house. The kitchen was well stocked, and the laundry on site was a real plus, especially for us (multi-generational with little kids). We used the fire pit and yard area every day - an unexpected bonus. The house is nicely appointed for any kind of vacation rental. The location is spectacular. I might be a bit biased as my family has been coming to this area each May for about 49 years, (Seriously...this area was a camp ground when we first started coming here) but it will not disappoint. I promise. This house is lovely. Nicely appointed for up to 8 people. Right on the beach. It has a great yard, with a fire pit, and room under the house for gatherings (we usually have a potluck with a lot of friends and family that come on the same weekend.) I think this is about the 4th time we have rented this house, and we are never disappointed in anything. Thank you so much for sharing such a lovely space. ##### Shelley R. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying at this house, and we would recommend it to anyone. Spacious bedrooms, individual bathrooms. Only thing I would say is that the common areas are smaller then other houses, so if you want a house that have multiple hangout areas, this one isn't it. This house is awesome for introverts who like their own rooms but also like occasionally hanging out together. We had a few maintenance issues that showed up, but based on the first time we stayed, confident they will get fixed. Quiet neighborhood, no thru traffic. We did plenty of crabbing! Management responds immediately to emails. WiFi in house is pretty good, cell reception iffy. Overall great place to stay at the beach. ##### Ulyana S. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is probably the best we've found in the area for multiple family use. We have shared this house with 4 generations for three years straight now and will keep coming back. With 5 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, and 4 of those rooms having queen or king beds (the 5th is a bunk room) it works perfectly for 4 adult couples (Our parents, us, our kids and their spouses) and then the grandkids in the bunk room. I've stayed in multiple houses in this area and this is the only one, to my knowledge, with this particular bedroom configuration. It's just a staircase and walk across the lawn to the beach. With outside shower for sand, and a firepit in the grassy area as well as ample parking space, it really can't be beat. The common area is a bit small if you have a whole house full, but really, if the weather is at all decent, I'm not personally spending a bunch of time inside. The kitchen is great. The propert manager is extremely responsive if there is any issue that needs addressed. ##### Shelley R. The beach house was happily situated right in front of the sand and water ... you wouldn't have to leave the house to enjoy the ocean as you would have access to the beach. The house was immaculate, gorgeous and clean floors, comfortable beds, an updated en-suite bathroom in every room and a fully stocked kitchen. The master bedroom with the huge window faced the ocean for a fantastic view. Beds were also very comfortable. If you enjoy watching movies while relaxing then the large tv in the living room with many channels and access to premium movies would be a hit! This was also the first beach house we rented where the internet was not slow and spotty, truly a reliable internet connection. There was also so many extras offered by this beach home, my husband had a great time shooting hoops in the front yard, bonfire for those cool nights in the front yard facing the ocean, there was also a grill although we did not use it. The Shore Thing Vacation Rentals service was also unmatched! There were chocolates and a thoughtful note from Sarah that will greet renters when they get to the beach house. Sarah responded to all our inquiries immediately providing the renters security that if anything needed attention it will be addressed.
