Skip was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The home has a spacious living room and porch. It is beautifully furnished and the kitchen is well stocked and even has sharp knives! The sofa bed is very comfy. The beach is a short walk away and there were so few people there it almost felt like a private beach. It was great to watch the birds and explore the tidepools. Next time I look forward to taking the kayaks to the lake and visiting the lily pads. The home is warm, welcoming, clean, and has everything you need. The little town and neighbors are quaint and friendly. I was working remotely during my stay, and the WiFi was consistently fast and reliable — a huge plus for anyone needing to take video calls or get work done while away.Both nights, I slept incredibly well. The King-sized pullout sofa surprised me — it’s genuinely the most comfortable pull-out I’ve ever slept on, easily as good as (or better than) a regular bed. Skip and Zoe clearly spared no expense in ensuring guests are as comfortable as possible.The kitchen was another highlight. I cooked all weekend, and it had everything I needed — well-stocked, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. The location is ideal too: just a short 3-minute walk to a beautiful beach and amazing forest hiking trails. You can even see the ocean and hear the waves right from the property, which was incredibly peaceful. Plus, the kayaks were a fantastic bonus that made the trip even more memorable.I’m already looking forward to my next stay here.
