« I used to visit my aunt and uncle in Manzanita in the 70s and early 80s. I was looking to recreate that experience and this place filled the bill perfectly. We absolutely loved it. Lots of naps on that comfy couch in front of the fire. And the location couldn't have been better. Thank you for allowing dogs. My girl loved the beach, running and barking to her heart's content. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presented itself. »

« We love the house and location. It seems that one of the bathrooms wasn't cleaned well, but everything else seemed great. The carbon monoxide device that was plugged into the wall the first floor bedroom began chirping, and replacing the battery did not help, so we unplugged it and left it on the kitchen island with a note. « We had an amazing stay at this oceanfront home in Manzanita! The views are absolutely incredible, and direct access to the beach made it easy to enjoy long walks, sunsets and storms every day.The house itself is comfortable, clean, and well appointed. We especially loved the heated bathroom floors, which were such a cozy and thoughtful extra touch after coming in from the cool coastal air. The kitchen and living spaces were perfect for relaxing with family while still taking in those panoramic...

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in unit #1! The covered deck with ocean view & easy beach access was just what we were looking for. The unit was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, very cozy & fun decor. The check in / check out process was easy & our host was quick to communicate with us for a few questions we had. We definitely recommend unit#1 at The Blue Octopus and will be back! »
