The hotel is basically a beautiful view and nice accommodations but in general it promises more than it offers. Location is not convenient, distant from the city, the hotel has neither parking nor easy parking in the neighborhood, has a tiny swimming pool and is not in front of the lake as the advertising may suggest. The service and management are ok but some basic mistakes were made during my stay.
My stay was absolutely horrendous, after we got to the hotel the staff was very unappreciative and unhelpful, after we got to the room and tried to turn on the TV it didn’t work, and after several attempts of speaking to the manager and staff, we still were not helped And as compensation they offered us a sandwich

We had a great stay at the Leonardo Hotel Tiberias - the rooms were comfortable and clean, the hotel staff were very helpful, and we truly enjoyed our Shabbat dinner at the hotel! Easy to walk to the promenade at the lake and into downtown.

Hotel service is great, people are really nice a d always willing to help. Everyone speaks English fluently. The rooms are somewhat clean but require a face lift.

The hotel is very basic simular to a Howard Johnson style, on the run down side.
I am extremely disappointed with the Leonardo hotel and Expedia for not properly showing the real price of the room. I searched for a room for 5 people which they found and displayed the price after reviewing some other options I decided based on the price that it made sense. When I arrived at the hotel I was told that a room with 5 beds is only priced for 1 person and was charged double the price I was shown on the app. I rely on Expedia to protect from these preditor practices. And unfortunately Expedia failed this time big time.
The listing also claims that they have a parking lot which is false only street parking is available for a fee and police is quick to issue tickets. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Pool was nice and clean. Pool hours are a bit short only till 5:30pm they only have one bell cart so be prepared to pack light or wait for it. They did have some entertainment during the night. I was in a non smoking section but there was major cigarette smoking coming from other rooms which was very bad for the children. Overall it was not a terrible stay but for the price I ended up paying I would have picked a different place to stay with nicer facilities. The facility sent a message that they would do better next time which really does not resolve the problem.

Unfortunately we were rather dissatisfied with our visit in July 2021. This hotel is the basic of basics. The room was comfortable that I will say however, the food wasn’t great, the so called bar had nothing. My glass of wine had to be searched for in the back room. You’re not allowed to access the outdoor patio area out of pool hours which meant that from 5:30pm-9:30am you don’t have access to an outdoors seating area at all (unless you sit on the wall outside the front of the hotel). All I will say is it was challenging to see the luxury hotel in front of us and be sitting in that one. I presume that is their tactic as it’s also run by the same company.

החדרים היו לא נקיים, הרצפה הייתה מלוכלכת, המצעים היו מלוכלכים ועם שיער. ארוחות בוקר טובה, מיקום נוח, חוסר בחניה בקרבת מקום, החוף הצמוד היה בתשלום ולא היה חוף בחינם בקרבת מקום, החוף שממול המלון היה בתשלום של 70₪ לאדם. הבריכה במלון יחסית קטנה.

i didnt liked that at the hotel reservation it says that there is a free parking available but the is only few parking spots available and due that i was required to pay for parking!!
the pool area closes at 17 and visitors cant sit next the pool( its the first hotel that i visited is like that)
although the hotel is ear the beach, there is only 1 available beach that cost 60 shekels for person!!
the distance from the beach was one of the main reasons that i stayed at that hotel and there is no information about that.
