We had a nice clean room with a good view. It did not have a fridge or air-conditioning, but this was fine. We especially loved the breakfast terrace and the great food. It was also in a nice location.

Convenient Hotel in Weimare
This is a good hotel conveniently located right across from the Weimar train station. The room was fine, what you would expect from a European hotel at this price. The bed though was very uncomfortable. Two twin bed pushed together so there’s a space in the middle. I didn’t sleep very well.

Awesome Staff very accommodating and professional. Location across from train station, easy walk to city center. Room was great a good size and was very quiet as I had a room next to the elevator. Price was great and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Rooms spacious and clean. Staff was: 1 good and 1 not so good. Parking in back of hotel. Nice city. It was extremely hot in Europe while we were there and this hotel was not air conditioned (as was the case in other hotels, too). They could not provide fans and the maid left the blackout drapes open to sun so room did not cool off all night.

In Weimar for the 100th Aniversay of the Bauhaus movement - so this hotel was great for that - next to train station and walking distance. ONly issue was no wifi.

Always check your bills at checkout !
I changed my booking from two persons/nights with breakfast to one person/night with breakfast and at the reception I was told the booking was changed correctly for one person, leaving the hotel I paid, took the bill, at home I looked at the bill and I was changed for 2 persons breakfast, even though the guy at reception knew I was alone, he turned around and said Hotel.com state here that the bill comes to €85, I paid €89. The service itself was good, just that one mistake ( money) puts a different light on it.

Nice quiet hotel right by the railway station. Easy to drive to, parking under hotel in garage. Room was small though. Breakfast good. 5 mins walk from the centre and Christmas Market.

Quaint Little Local Hotel @ a Convenient Location
Basically just across the street from Weimar train station, this local hotel is very good for a short stay overall. While its amenities are basic, you cannot beat the location and old-fashioned charm. It has no air conditioning. It is OK for us in early September not sure about the middle of the summer. Internet was slow and spotty at times, barely sufficient for checking emails. Even though the facility and linens need updates, its friendly staff, good location, and above average housekeeping will make it a pleasant stay. Downtown area (Goetheplatz) is about 10 min walk. There are not much around the hotel nor the station so it is quiet at night for a good sleep. Trains are barely heard from our room.

Great location close to the train station!
We loved the location, so close to the train station and yet easy walking to the Allstadt. The only thing I could have wished for was coffee or tea in the room, though I thoroughly enjoyed the backerei each morning in the train station!

Historic hotel that has been renovated and is clean and comfortable. Across the street from the train station and about 10 minutes walk from the historic district. Nice restaurant.

Perfect for us!
I recently stayed at this hotel with my husband while visiting family in Weimar. The location was excellent for us as it was across from the train station and very close to our family. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient and most spoke fluent English. In particular, Robert, at the front desk was helpful and made us feel welcome. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant so I can't comment on the food but the ambiance looked lovely. Housekeeping staff were timely and competent. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. A few notes travelers may want to consider....the room was warm at night and I'm not sure if there is air conditioning so it could be hot in the summer. (We were on the 3rd floor). Also, although there is a nice television, there are no English speaking channels .... a little news in English would have been nice. It fit our needs but we spent very little time there besides sleeping!

Close enough to Historical downtown Weimar to walk each day. Clean, up to date, tidy rooms. Right across the street from train terminal. Nice selection of restaurants nearby. Quiet room.

We paid for 2 rooms, but booked only about 15 minutes before arrive (about midnight). Because they didn't have time to put the 3rd bed into our room they just gave us a 3rd room, for free. We were very tired, but the front desk was kind, helpful, and even gave one of our travelers a toothbrush and paste set because we didn't have bags. They were open late, accommodating, kind. I couldn't ask for any more especially since we booked so late in the day. We felt very safe and I would stay here again.

Good local hotel very convenient for the station
An excellent stay; easy to drop off the luggage as literally across the square from the train station and then a pleasant 20/30 minute walk from the to the city sights. Rooms clean, cosy and well decorated (no English language TV station available). We used the restaurant (Winter Garden) one night and although the buffet is limited, it was very good.

Steps from the Train Station
This is literally steps from the train station, making it easy to stop over in Weimar. The bed was more comfortable than most hotels. The room wasn't fancy, but comfort, quiet, convenience, cleanliness and a good breakfast made this a great stop over.

Clean, modern, comfortable hotel.
The room was on the small side, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. At check-in you can choose to have breakfast in the morning in the restaurant off the lobby. There was an extra charge for it payable at check-out. If you opt for it, you will be given a green token for each day, which is collected in the morning in the restaurant by one of the women serving coffee. There is a good variety of offerings at the breakfast buffet.

A great hotel in Weimar
The rooms were good - clean and comfortable, and the staff was nice. The hotel is located in front of a big bus/train station so at times it was a little noisy. Parking in front of the hotel was not cheap (2.5 euros for 2 hours).

- convenient hotel opposite the train station in Weimar about a 15 min walk from the town centre. - staff seemed unfriendly and didn't readily offer the wifi code. Room was hot and stuffy with no aircon. Very comfortable. Also charged for guest parking which is absurd!

Lovely and clean hotel. Location is excellent, directly opposite the main train station. The shower was very slow to drain - running it for 5 minutes caused it to overflow. We ended up reporting this to reception staff three times, as nothing was done to fix it. No attempt was made to tell us they were unable to fix it, or to offer us another room, or anything.

Weimar - historic town with nice hotel and staff
great location , very polite courteous staff who were professional and able to resolve a blocked shower outlet with great customer service - after a very long hot,humid,trip from Dresden after 9 hours delay at Frankfurt Airport ...having flown from Coventry ....so a decent shower was needed ! a good sign of good customer service is how problems are resolved and turned into something positive ....not sure if the rooms had air conditioning but then we spent a lot of time away on World War 2 research

Very convenient location and right opposite weimar station. Help desk didnt inform us about wifi and complimentary breakfast and we were quite disappointed and we only found out on our bill when we checked out. It costed us 18 euro which we didnt have.

Short business stay
It is very conveniently located and comfortable hotel. They didn't have the reservation from Expedia but had rooms available. After sending my confirmation E-Mail to hotel reservation address, they seemed to figure out. No problem at all. Good simple breakfast. Seems to be not busy time (beginning of January).
