Because we had a family member with Alzheimer’s who is 84, I would suggest a handrail on the landing and the upper stairs. Except from some details, the property was good and a few blocks from the downtown area. Three Oaks is a small, quiet town. However, New Buffalo (only about 10 minutes away), offered a lot of activities.The doors to the bathrooms and bedrooms did not have locks, which we have preferred (the bedroom door on the first floor needs to be adjusted so it can be closed all the way without forcing it). The bunk beds were not comfortable; they were very squeaky and noisy.While the kitchen was supplied in many ways, the main cooking items were skillets with one small saucepan and one Dutch Oven. Walking distance to downtown and the Journeyman that was the wedding venue. We had a lot of laughs and family time. The house had everything we needed, and then some. It was big enough that we weren't on top of each other. The kitchen table was awesome ... big enough to fit everyone for a game night. We had a great host and would definitely recommend this house for your next visit to Three Oaks. ##### Mary K.
