It was very clean. And it was close to downtown restaurants and museums. Bedrooms were nice. Kitchen was a bit short on work counter space. Some of the electric appliances could be stored off the counter (IMHO)and the pots amd pans could be culled to a few of the better ones. Super friendly and helpful hosts, who operate the coffee shop next door. Nice large gravel front area that made it easy for us to park our Subaru Outback and small trailer. We wanted a place to take a break from camping on a long journey and this fit the bill. We could make dinner, including barbecuing some chicken, and eat on the picnic table, and do some laundry. I got to wet a line in the Bighorn River two blocks away while my wife rested. It's not a fancy vacation home, more of a standard house that regular people live in - clean, functional, cared for. Worked very well for us - and we could stop by the coffee shop one morning before walking 1 mile up to the Hot Springs State Park before walking back by they Wyoming Dinosaur Center, which actually is right across the river from this house. The yard is overgrown with weeds and the deck/furniture looks stained and dirty. There is one window air conditioner in a bedroom. It is either on or off with a fan setting of high or low - that's it! So no satisfactory way to adjust the temperature in the house to make it comfortable. The closet doors in the main bedroom are hard to open and close so we did not use the closet and had to leave our clothes in suitcases. It was clean and well stocked with seasonings, kitchen utensils, cookware, and small appliances. The beds and linens were clean and comfortable. There is only one bathroom, which could a drawback for some, but was just fine for us. The property is centrally locate and within walking distance of downtown Thermopolis, and the river runs a couple of blocks east of it. One highlight was the female deer that would visit the backyard of the house next for a morning snack. There is also a coffee place next door if your palate wants more flavor and variety than just drip coffee. The house is almost located within a short drive of nearby state and city parks. And the famous Merlin’s Hideout which specializes in products hand crafted from bison hides is within walking distance. The fishing on the Bighorn River and our fishing guides, Reese, Chris and Jason, were first rate (5 stars). We have pictures of 23 inch brown trout and 20 inch rainbow trout to prove it. We only used the place to sleep for we spent our trip away from the house. The bedrooms are adjoining and is a nice comfy home. The house met all our needs. It was clean and well stocked. If we had a question or need it was answered or taken care of immediately. We were very satisfied with our stay. The house is small but who stays inside a house when you are in Thermopolis too many fun outside things to do or see. We had all the space and supplies we needed. Great place. ##### Elizabeth M.
