"It was all clean and staff were friendly. Fun and qwerky place to stay. I wanted to give a particular mention to the barman who was there on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th Jan - embarrassingly we forgot him. But as seasoned travellers, we were very impressed by his attitude to go above and beyond. Wine recommendations, local tourism ideas. Really 5\* - was the cherry on top of a great weekend. name. "

"When we arrived the place was very cold 14 degrees and a window was open. We turned up heat, closed window and went into town, returned 3 hrs later. After returning, apt warmed up to 17 when thermostat was set to 20\. And also - a very pungent sewer smell was pervasive in apt. Guessing that is why window was open when we arrived? We left again to walk to Ahoy for tennis and returned 3 hrs later to an even worse smell and cold apartment. We left that night and went to a hotel. I did not communicate with host - except re: it being cold when we checked in. Could have been ok with the cold - but the smell was awful. Would not recommend this rental. The host did let us check-in early. "

"For my first time outside of the country, I can’t even begin to word how beautiful of a stay the citizenM was. The room, the amenities, the service, the coziness of the lobby, everything stood out so unforgettably. First of all, 24/7 bar and kitchen. Id feel like having a fun night, go downstairs to grab a drink and some crispy chicken bites at 2am. The staff were so welcoming, kind and had great conversation, even so late in the night. I found myself wanting to grab a drink and just enjoy the lights, architecture and decorations in the lobby. It was so calming and peaceful staring off into the old harbor. Id go downstairs to journal or listen to music and I wish I did it more. KING SIZE BED, having all that space was so cozy. The room was perfect for 1-2 people. I wish I had some company with me at times. The location of the hotel is in a perfect spot. Rotterdam Blaak right across the street, making it easy and not so tiresome to navigate to the other stations to get around the city. Even then, I thought Id be one with the locals and walk everywhere, and its honestly so nice to walk everywhere and not have to drive. Everything is relatively close to the hotel, again making it a perfect location. To sum this up, 12/10 stay. Affordable, cozy, pretty luxury in my opinion. Id stay here 100 times over. I recommend. "

"It was unbelievable and completely completely perfect. The two things that stood out were the front desk staff — Amondi was a dream come true with a heart of gold and moved mountains to assist us. And also the breakfast. OH MY GOSH ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR. Best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel, in a restaurant, in my house, on a cruise ship — ANYWHERE. Pure perfection and worth every penny. I am now loyal to this hotel brand."
