"This is our 5th time staying at this hotel. It is a very convenient location in San Francisco to get to lots of different theaters, restaurants, bars, etc, but it generally seems a little bit safer and quieter than the heart of the Tenderloin. The hotel has some great history, the rooms all have lots of character, but are very clean and beds are comfy. Staff is excellent - helpful and friendly, all of them, from front desk to housekeeping. There is a free breakfast of good pastries...

"I liked the hotel and will stay again. I wouldn’t bring a family w kids, but for a budget friendly option within a close taxi to Moscone it works. It is quite dated, but all of the fixtures and accommodations are very clean and tidy. The bed was very, very comfortable and slept great aside from the city noise that you get outside. I felt like I was stepping back into the 1970s or 80s which I kind of enjoyed. The TV is low, resolution and old tech, but who cares? But like I said, everything was...
