"I expected a 5 star and it was a 3 star. The whole 20th floor and our room smelled like cigarettes with plug in purifiers in the halls. No sound proofing so woke up to the prayers outside on the loud speakers at 5:30am everyday. The washing machine cord was duck taped to the ground around around the toilet in the powder room. The positives were the lobby was beautiful and concierge and check in staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. "

"Amazing hotel, great location, beautiful architecture, well maintained, beautiful and spacious rooms. Breakfast was amazing, they have so many restaurants inside the hotel with amazing food, upscale atmosphere, we were very impressed . All my tours picked us up at the hotel. We had the greatest time and the JW Marquis Dubai. Definitely would choose it again when we go back. "
