"Very modern, clean, and the staff did appear to pay attention to detail, which isn’t something you often plan to rate for lodging, but I did want to throw that in. Check-in process was very quick, and Champagne was offered during this time. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked through the entrance. The heated outdoor pool was a huge hit for my daughter. Especially since there are very few places you can swim outside at during the winter in Northern Michigan. Our room was clean, and our view was ok. (We didn’t request/expect any exquisite view, as we were in town for a basketball tournament and just wanted a clean, safe area to spend our free time at). The location is on the water, dining options are available on site, and you are near many other restaurants/ attractions. I do plan on staying at Delamar again during our future tournaments in that area. "

"While it was inconvenient having to go across the street to register at the Howard Johnson motel while your lobby was being renovated, we appreciated being able to still use our room. We also appreciated the complimentary breakfast at the Howard Johnson motel."
