### The River House - Plus LockOut Floor for 12 Guests

This stylish place to stay is perfect for adult group trips or respectful families. Experience peaceful luxury unlike any other. From the wrap around porch to sitting swings on all levels, you’ll find the expanse lets you stay a little longer. This house was carefully curated for an elegant environment for the more mature guests to slip away. Enjoy all the outdoor, river life at the water’s edge while retreating in an upscale escape. You’ll want to return to this exclusive retreat again!  
The space  
We’re water people, born and raised. When we added “The River Cabin” down the road, we felt like we had taken a fresh breath every time we visited. There’s nothing like the undisturbed forest meeting the mighty river. When this house became for sale, we knew we were here to stay! We love our family cabin, but this house is our passion and home away from home.  
  
In my lines of work, I design homes, stage them, and/or fill them with permanent style. This home was almost a year in the making of our forever home away. There’s nothing about it that I don’t love. It’s perfectly us. We want anyone to stay who would be a “guest” in our home and love it carefully as much as we do. We know you will!  
Guest access  
The River House offers dual driveways for easy access for guests. The driveways may be shared with guests of “The River Cabin” to have access to parking and accessing the river frontage in high water season. Separate side lot is marked to identify access. There are no shared spaces.  
Other things to note  
You may see all kinds of wildlife on your stay. From fish in the river to deer in the woods and and everything in between, you’ll be immersed in nature with the home away from home accommodations. As with any country life, be on the lookout for bugs, snakes, birds, and our famous Louisiana mosquitos which can be spotted year-round! Welcome to our neck of the woods with a 180° stunning riverside view!

House and view is great. There were a couple hiccups out of the hosts control that once we brought their attention to it they responded quickly to remedy. We booked both of this hosts cabins for a family holiday and enjoyed both thoroughly. Fire pit, grill, and games were used almost every evening. Would definitely rent again.
