Close to Lake Michigan and millennium park

Posted 5-Sep-2017
Went for the weekend and loved every bit of it. The hotel is close to most things or a short uber ride. The bed was very comfortable and shower was awesome. We opted to go with a standard studio room smaller but perfect for a weekend getaway

Hilton is a great place to stay in Chicago

Posted 5-Sep-2017
Pros: The room, staff, decor, and amenities.
Cons: Check in could have been quicker. It was 9:30 pm when we got there and there was a fairly long line.
Location: We mostly come to Chicago to visit the Art Institute. Love the blues clubs and this time went on the architecture boat tour. Very enjoyable.
We had a big beautiful room. The on site bars and restaurants were wonderful with very good food and drinks. I had an accident at the train station the day of check in and the security staff and supervisor were very nice and provided a wheelchair and help getting around.

Always choose this one first

Posted 5-Sep-2017
I love the Hilton. It's well situated for the colleges in the area, and I always try to book this one first when dropping my child off. Usually it's too expensive, but in the Fall I can often get a good price, which I did - from Expedia. I got there at 7:30 and upgraded for $25 per night to a great room with two beds and two bedrooms on the 23rd floor. The staff is always great. The brunch in the hotel is very good but crazy expensive ($30 pp). We ate at Kitty O-Shea's, which is connected to the hotel, and that was good also.

The room was very small for the price. The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan for shower. The ad said free wifi but it's not free in the room.

Great location, facilities need upkeep

Posted 5-Sep-2017
Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: wetness in the closet. need to check what is wrong.
Location: Millennium park, walk along the lake Michigan
This is a fantastic location and ordinarily I would have had not problem recommending. But on day 2 of our stay, we noticed a stench from the closet. Found that the floor was getting wet with drainage from someplace. There is no obvious source of this leak. Not sure how common this is. Otherwise everything was good and clean, with great views and location.

Great experience

It was good experience . I like the services and the staff were helpful. However, the parking rates were expensive but that's Chicago for you.
