"Nice Hotel in a great location"
Hotel staff were very kind and pleasant. I like the free filtered water, available by the elevators. Love the Keurig coffee maker in the room, with a nice selection of coffees. The toiletries were top line. The room is a bit small, but was more than adequate for 2 people. Included a comfortable side chair and desk. It is close to all of the Chicago fun!

"Great stay on our first visit to Chicago"
Great to be greeted by the upbeat staff at Virgin after 24+ hours travelling to Chicago from Australia. Fast check in and beautiful, well equipped rooms. We would have preferred to be on a higher floor for some more quiet (the elevated train is right outside) due to travelling with a baby, however overall the stay was excellent.

"GREAT Hotel in Downtown Chicago"
There aren't enough wonderful things that I can say about the Hyatt Place. First and foremost we were greeted and warmly welcomed upon our arrival to the hotel, the hotel staff took care of us right away. The room was fantastic and there was plenty of space, a refrigerator, nice size tv with a great view of the city from our room. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel's fitness center as it not only had machines and cardio equipment, but also boasted dumb bells, flat benches, and a cable machine. I did not have the opportunity to use the pool area but I did visit the area and I was also extremely impressed at the cleanliness of the pool area. The continental breakfast was also a plus as they offered more than just the typical hot and cold cereals and fruit. I definitely will stay here the next time I spend a weekend downtown and I have already recommended this hotel to my family and friends.

"Very nice hotel!"
Check-in took awhile, not enough staff working. We opted out of housekeeping during our three day stay but housekeeping made sure to call us every day to see if there was anything we needed. If you drive to this hotel trying to get to a parking garage is quite a challenge and VERY EXPENSIVE! Finally found a reasonable parking garage a block away. The hotel has valet parking but charge an insane price to park your car. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant as a glass of orange juice was $6.00.

"Great location, great stay"
We were only here one day, but the staff were great and the location couldn't be beat. My 16-year old loved the leopard print robes and we loved the 5 o'clock happy hour.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. We found the staff to be very accommodating. The rooms were modern with large bathrooms. We had easy access to the city bus lines, a few blocks from Michigan Ave and the parks area including Millennium Park

"Decent clean hotel"
The AC for our first room was too loud and I couldnt sleep for the whole night. However, the receptionist is kind enough to do a transfer for me to another room with no hesitation. I prefer beds that are hard so its a personal preference. But overall, the room is decent. Location is decent as well.

You’ll find no shortage of things to do when you stay in the hustle and bustle of Chicago.

If you’re looking for an all-around good time, head for Navy Pier. Constructed in 1916, the pier offers something for everyone, whether you’re travelling alone, with your family, or with a gaggle of friends. Ride the Ferris wheel, rent jet skis, or explore some of the many restaurants lining the area. Want to explore the local culture? Go west to the Riverfront Theatre, a giant tent located on a riverfront complex. Besides a great view of the river when outside, the theatre itself offers performances of comedies, dramas, musicals, and everything in between.

Any first-time—or repeating—visitor to Chicago needs to see the Cloud Gate. Head over to Millennium Park and take in the shining, seamless bean, which has incited wonder since its dedication in 2006. Millennium Park itself has a number of things to do such as visiting McCormick Tribune Plaza. During the winter, this plaza is an ice skating rink; in summer, it’s a restaurant.

There’s so much to do in The Loop, you won’t want to drag your heels to a far-off hotel at the end of every day. When you stay in Chicago, downtown hotels give you the best bang for your buck. They’re close to shopping areas like The Shops at State and Washington, so you’ll have somewhere to leave your purchases; they’re also close to the nightlife along the waterfront. You might not even have to take a cab back in the evenings!

Trust Expedia.ca to bring you the best deals on hotels in Chicago. You’ll find a variety of rooms and suites available, and they carry our Best Price Guarantee, so you know you’re going to have plenty of money left over for an extra shopping spree in The Loop.
