The house was excellent, interesting and characterful, very well appointed. The kitchen equipment was very good, with a vast range of utensils and appliances. Bathrooms and showers were all very clean and worked very well.The swimming pool was really lovely, perfect for the children, and very relaxing for the adults too, and we thoroughly enjoyed the barbecue area on the covered terrace as it was very hot some of the time when we were there. The table tennis table gave us a lot of fun too, and the children enjoyed the trampoline.The area was really peaceful and tranquil, just a quiet country lane outside, with the occasional tractor or car going by. It was about 10 minutes drive to the shops in St.Fargeau, two supermarkets there, both very well stocked, not a problem to get to by car. The nearby lanes were also very safe for cycling.There were a lot of interesting things to see in the area, and the house was ideally positioned to visit them, mostly within a drive of about half an hour to an hour away."
