The staff is amazing. The rooms were lovely. To get into the shower/bathtub is the only problem. As the sides of the tub are very high, it is very hard and dangerous for people who are not in good shape. If the are rooms with walk-in showers, it would be wise to let their older guests know of the option.

Nice location but needs a renovation
Positives: - good location - nice period building - comfy bed - restaurant food is nice - polite reception staff Improvements: - rooms extremely dated. Bathroom for instance.. for this price I would expect a renovated bathroom. - the room decor (e.g. red pattern carpet) is dark and dated. Needs to lighten up. - would be nice to have a proper coffee - breakfast staff not easy to get hold off and always look confused - restaurant waitress spoke very little English. She explained the dish all wrong. Explicitly asked for no shellfish - dish had prawns and mussels.

The interior of the property is very nicely decorated, elegant. The room is tastefully arranged, the bathroom and toilet are ingeniously separated. The employees are very welcoming and helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Everyone was very welcoming, from the pre-arrival correspondence, to the front desk, up till the dining room. Perfect location with good access to bus stations. The room was so clean and lived up to the standards I expected. Overall, great stay, much recommended, would definitely stay there during my next visits to the Hague!

Outstanding stay in an otherwise challenging time
Service level is truly top-notch - informed, personalised and discreet yet attentive and unpretentious - people who go above and beyond and who take pride in their hotel and what they do, and it shows. I had a short visit during covid/corona lockdown, travelling to NL for medical reasons, and the manner of service really stood out at an otherwise challenging time for everyone. This hotel is a timeless classic of The Hague, beautifully situated with lots of nearby greenery and well placed for access to the central old city, the Peace Palace and numerous embassies and international bodies. Very good food, superb breakfast, comfortable beds, the hotel has classic charm. Highly commended

A lovely stay in Den Haag
We were staying at the hotel as our daughter lives in one of the adjoining streets. It was a convenient location but was extremely comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly too. A great stay.

Location was perfect for us. Near the Noordeinde with lots of eateries and bars. The staff were very friendly, particularly one of the restaurant staff (tall, slim, blonde chap) whose name we unfortunately didn't note. The bed was very comfortable (it had a thick mattress topper), made us realise we need to improve our bed at home!! The food in the restaurant was very good.

Beautifully presented, excellent helpful staff, good food, fantastic position in The Hague close to cafes & restaurants and walking distance to all the major galleries and museums and the city centre. Tram close by for connection to trains and airport, Amsterdam, Delft etc

Complaint additional fees
Good hotel and good service , but I was surprised by 180€ additional fees for the additional bed for kids, however this was not expected as the room was booked via hotels.com for 3 persons and paid upfront!!!! Still waiting for a feedback from the hotel or hotels.com

Great hotel for a visit to The Hague
Nice hotel in great location. Close to all sites and train station. Room a bit small but comfortable enough. A bit more mould in the grout around bathroom tiles and bath than i would have liked, but good shower . Only one pair of slippers and one bath robe which is odd in a room for two people. Staff friendly and helpful. Overall we were pleased we out choice of hotel.

I would recommend this hotel for families. Staff is wonderful, excellent breakfast buffet and coffee. Steps away from residential areas and restaurants so you have a quiet place to sleep and a lively place for entertainment and dining.
