"Great little hotel in Temple Bar"
Excellent location, excellent hotel, excellent staff, and excellent wi-fi. We spent 3 nights at this hotel (Sat/Sun/Mon) and did not hear any of the usual noise from Fleet Street - the weekends can get very loud, but it was very quiet in our location of the hotel. We had an inside room (#250) considered to be Double Room Elegance, and it was very nice. The hotel appears to have recently renovated, and it shows. The staff are very friendly, and the hotel is very clean. They do have a traditional breakfast offering; however, we preferred to check out the local restaurants. I highly recommend The Fleet Street Hotel.

"Fantastic stay! "
This was one of the best hotel experiences I've had to date and we travel a lot! The staff was amazing- especially when I had trouble with my USA credit card and the woman at the desk waited patiently and helped me to figure out me banking situation. the room was spotless, THE BEDS WERE AMAZING, and the gentleman at the front door was so helpful!

The room was great! However, there was work being done on the elevator. Also, the staff was friendly but sometimes seemed unconvinced when asked about restaurants/tourist attractions in the area.

"perfect location"
We were just in Dublin for a day. This hotel was ideal for us to get to all the spots we wanted to see. Across the street from the Book of Kells, Whiskey Museum and Temple Bar. It was pouring rain the whole day and we were able to get umbrellas from the hotel. Room was excellent in size, cleanliness, etc. Much bigger than what I expected for a hotel room in Europe. I am a self-proclaimed hotel snob and I would stay here again and definitely recommend it.

Nice hotel, only downsides: Bathroom was a bit tight, the washing machine was right outside our door and quite loud. All in all, hotel is nice, clean, and in the perfect location in the temple bar neighborhood - plenty of pubs and restaurants just steps outside the front door. I would stay here again. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. ........................

"A good time"
I had a very nice stay at the Arlington. My room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. I had read an earlier review that claimed the showers weren't very good but the one in my room at least was very good. Being right in the heart of down town I was worried that there would be a lot of noise but that was not the case. My room was ion the first floor and I wasn't bothered with ant street noise. The walls a kind of thin so you could here people in the hall way. I particularly enjoyed spending time in the hotels pub. Again, the stall there were very friendly and it seems to be very popular with the locals which to me is always a good sign. The neighborhood is a little "rough" but I never had any problems and the hotel does have it's own security especially at night.

"A pretty nice hostel."
This hostel is quite nice and the location is great - very central. The rooms are basic, but only have 6 beds, which is cozier than the hostels that try to cram more beds. The room was also nice and warm, which is a good plus for Dublin. Each room has en suite bathroom with one shower and one toilet, so it's nice to have that privacy and it was quite large in size. Mind you the shower sometimes took a while to heat up, the pressure wasn't great and the walls had some peeling paint. But overall it was a decent bathroom. The beds could have been better, I kept feeling the springs and after three days of sleeping there, my back didn't appreciste it much. The staff was accommodating with storing my extra bag downstairs during my stay and everyone was very nice and pleasant. Overall I think it's a good value.
