"This hotel is the perfect home base for visiting all the golden circle sites and extending a bit further east on the southern coast for a day trip! The suites are very nice, and the highest level suite comes with private hot tubs on the patios. I would be remiss if didn’t mention that the breakfast is excellent as well as dinner options. And the hotel is extremely quiet late at night."

Lovely location with the stunning lake within walking distance and Fontana lagoon - which was amazing. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if we’re ever lucky enough to come to Iceland again."

"This would not be for everyone but you have to be prepared to stay in a clear “igloo” like bubble. Staff was friendly and there upon arrival but it is a small cabin with 2 shared bathrooms and showers for everyone staying. There is a fridge and coffee if wanted. The only thing in the bubble is a very comfortable bed, a small light and electric outlet. Each bubble is private and there is nothing like looking overhead into trees and the sky. The bed was the most comfortable bed with plenty of down pillows and comforters. They give you a lantern if you need to use it for the evening. We woke up to the sunrise very refreshed. Definitely an interesting and fun experience."

"A good location for norther light, no light noise except the guest house itself. Very clean. The shared washroom has 2 sinks and 1 toilet, which is kind of not enough for a floor with 5+ rooms. Had to knock the wash room door locked by one person inside who took long time."
