« Beautiful quiet location, Plenty of space outside on the patio and also inside . Staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was very good with an over fill carpark. Food was very good and breakfast was good value and very nice, If anything, the bedrooms were a little on the small side and rooms need a bit of freshening up. They provided great service and every meal was delicious. The Thomas Paine Museum was of special interest and full of information for this history buff. We cant wait to book our next trip. »
« Made to feel very welcome and hotel kindly arranged a late check-in without fuss. The room was comfy and clean and the breakfast first class. Nothing was too much trouble. « Both the chord for the window blind and the light in the bathroom had snapped off. You had to be a least 5 foot tall to turn it on. I had to pull the bed out to plug my bedside lamp in. There were not enough electrical points in the room.
They were not doing breakfasts either which was disappointing. The overall appearance would be described as tatty especially the bathroom with tatty paint work on the door surrounds and radiator.
The shower was good the beds clean and the towels were fresh. »

"Un peu cher pour ce que c'est. Elégant mais service un peu décevant. Légèrement excentré (même si c'est à pied du centre). J'avais la chambre derrière la réception et c'était un peu bruyant. Bref, bel hôtel mais un peu déçu"
"Le lieu est absolument magnifique, la propriété, le parc, les arbres.
En revanche les lieux de restauration ont clairement besoin d'un manager. Malgré le nombre conséquent de personnel, le petit déjeuner n'était pas régulièrement fourni. Les employés sont cachés à droite à gauche, occupés à plier des serviettes en discutant ou en consommant des bouteilles cachées dans les placards... Un soir nous avons attendu 1h notre commande de repas alors que nous étions avec 2 enfants. C'est vraiment dommage car le lieu est magique et mérite mieux. "
