« Rooms are very durty and dusty ,the head board needs replacing all black bits falling off onto pillows , bed room skirting in need of repair ,furniture old and tatty. The bathroom has a shower over the bath tiles moldy and durty sink no plug. Bath side coming away from bath very durty ,under radiator very dusty. The corridor is very dark and carpets very durty door frames damaged. Do not stay at this hotel if you want agreenking keep going and looking. »

« Points positifs : l'accueil par une employée très sympathique,serviable et à l'écoute ; et la chambre était très correct niveau propreté. Point négatif : extrêmement bruyant ! D'autres clients parlaient fort, écoutaient de la musique à fond et passaient leur temps à claquer les portes toute la nuit... La 1ère nuit ça a duré jusqu'à minuit, puis ça a repris vers 4h jusqu'au matin. Et la 2ème nuit, on a pu dormir sans bruit entre minuit et 5h du matin seulement... »

« Hotel personnel were very helpful and friendly. Room, Toilet and shower very clean. Tea and coffee in the room was always replenished. The fan system air and refrigeration from the kitchen in the Beefeater was very loud especially at 05:30 AM. All in all I can recommend this hotel. 8 minutes with a Taxi to the train station. »

« Had no choice but to book a room on the first floor that was meant for people who need "assistance". Room had zero charm at all and I felt like I was in a hospital especially in the bathroom. On top of that it was full of golfers who made a lot of noise. Anyways, bad stay overall. I know I should not be suprised as I booked this type of room but still... »

« First, the room was not as advertised on the number of people who could sleep in it I had to pay for another room for my kids. After, that we settled in and noticed the rooms were not cleaned. The bedding,floor and toilet was had dirt from the previous guest in fact I was too ashamed to let the staff know after paying extra money had to leave the next day as early as possible. »

« I grabbed a pillow from the wardrobe that was in a "clean" plastic bag, the pillow was infested with bed bugs as I got bitten on my head, neck, hands and arms. My wife, who was next to me, was not bitten, so I assume it was the pillow. Pls take necessary measures to clean. »

« Lovely small hotel with a few areas to improve - room 10 the radiator didn’t work but they had left a small plug in , it didn’t heat the room so room was very cold . The bathroom had no extractor working so got very steamy and couldn’t use mirror . Fridge wasn’t secure in unit so fridge fell forward , TV had limited channels and could not get a response on how to access through pin . The hotel was beautifully restored and exceptionally clean. Would stay again if the room was heated »

" On the first night, we had a fire alarm at 3 a.m. It took the night auditor 30 minutes to turn it off. No complimentary gesture or apology was offered. The hotel is outdated for a 4-star property. The bathroom silicone is moldy, the carpet is stained and needs a deep clean, and the room was very dusty. The reception staff were not helpful, the phone was not working in a room so hard to get the reception.. and when the shower temperature kept going from very hot to very cold. Coffee and tea were not refilled, which is disappointing for a 4-star hotel where better service and cleanliness are expected."
