"Good location, nice hotel"
Lovely hotel, excellent location - we had a basement room, which was fine, but perhaps a little darker than would have liked, though admittedly expected for a basement. The room does have decent sized windows but there is not quite enough natural light or lighting to counteract the dimness. We also had a metal staircase outside our window which was quite loud and surprisingly used quite a bit. In general, it was clean and hospitable. Would definitely stay there again and the location was perfect

"Great Hotel Great Location"
The Toren is one of the loveliest boutique hotels I have ever stayed at -- the stafff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the rooms are magnificent. The hotel has a beautiful breakfast every morning and a great bar/lounge in the evening. Plan to definitely stay here again next time I am in Amsterdam.

"Nice stylish hotel in great location."
Arriving early in the morning the staff at Sir Albert were very helpful in checking us in early even though room wasn't ready and arranging for our luggage to be kept safe and delivered to our room when ready while we were out enjoying the day. They were also happy to have a chat about any activities, attractions etc. and highlighted some areas of interest on a map for us. The room was compact but roomy enough for a 3 night stay and the bed was very comfy. The rainfall shower was also excellent. A short walk from the main museums and tram routes into the heart of Amsterdam there's plenty to do nearby and lots of bars and restaurants within short walking distance. We booked cabs to and from airport using the Able app and they were excellent too.

"Hotel for a city break"
This was perfectly placed for all the major museums. There were plenty of places to eat nearby and the shopping areas were a 20 min walk into the centre

"Great location"
Hotel was perfectly located for everything we wanted to do in Amsterdam. Walking distance to Van Gogh and Riks museum; right next to tourist area; and accessible to 4 tram lines that lead to centraal station. Line 16 took us to red light district (Dam station) right before centraal station. Daily tram pass was €7.5. The room was very big with a beautiful bathroom. But the heater was not very effective and our room stayed really cold in winter. It was nice to be able to hang out on the balcony. We had a nespresso machine and it was greatly utilized and appreciated. Grey Area had the best weed but be prepared to pay top dollar. The best chocolates were across the street from Grey Area. Macarons were super cheap from the ice cream/waffle shop in the middle of tourist corner: €15 for 10 vs €2-3 each elsewhere. Best local food was at the Pantry; hardy homecooking. Would stay again if I ever go back to Amsterdam.

"Lovely hotel and staff, right in the center"
It was a lovely and clean hotel, it was a little cramped in places however once you see the building in Amsterdam ita hard to avoid. The staff where extremely helpful expecially this lovely lady at the front desk who made sure our room was perfect for us. It was in the perfect place of the city. Right in the center which ment we could nip back to use the toilet as the toilets in Amsterdam arnt the nicest toilets ever.
