"The room was clean but there was an empty packet of Maryland’s under the bed. The Tv didn’t work and I only noticed about 3 hours into our arrival- no maintenance were in house so they offered a different room- but we had already unpacked, settled etc, my son was sleeping so was inconvenient to move. The pool was out of use 10-11am which was annoying and the hot tub was out of use the whole time. There was also no water in our fridge. With there being no phone in the room having to go down to reception felt like a chore every time so we didn’t bother. The location is good but I was misinformed on the phone about parking- she told me £12 but it’s actually £21.60\. We still had a nice stay but there were a number of errors. "

"The room I stayed in was severely outdated and needed a deep clean. There were literal brown stains splashed up the curtains, walls and even the bed. "I had a very disappointing experience booking through Hotels.com. I specifically booked a room with two double beds. However, when my friend and I arrived at the Ramada hotel, there was only one double bed in the room. We went to reception to resolve the issue, but were told that the hotel was fully booked and no alternative room was available. The receptionist explained that Hotels.com had not provided the correct booking information for a room with two double beds. Instead of fixing the issue, we were told to move to another nearby hotel. Unfortunately, the alternative hotel had a lower standard, smelled strongly of cigarettes, and was not what we had paid for or expected. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. I am extremely disappointed that Hotels.com failed to handle the booking correctly and did not ensure we received the room we paid for."
