"Great location at the San Antonio Riverwalk"
Bathroom looked like it was cleaned weeks ago. Only two towels in the bathroom. Dresser was full of dust.

"Nice hotel on the riverwalk"
Staff was wonderful, my 8 year old and 5 year old enjoyed the heated pool, room service was great, and the balcony view was awesome. Beds were a little too firm for my liking, but the room was really nice.

"Nice hotel, right on riverwalk. "
We enjoyed our stay, and plan a return trip soon with family, and friends. The resturant had a classy appeal in the midst of the more casual riverwalk resturants scene. We utilized the spa while there, and must say it was quite relaxing. The spa staff were superb, as was the entire hotel staff. Our only regret is that we didn't request a room facing the riverwalk. That said we had a beautiful view of a blank brick wall :( Maybe a nice mural or painting of the historic San Antonio area is in order ? Minor issue considering the wonderful stay we enjoyed. Well be back !

"Great for BMT graduation!"
We were down in San Antonio for BMT graduation. The hotel is a 5-7 minute drive. Get right on the highway to goes to the base. There was several places to eat right there around the area. The neighborhood looked a little rough but we had no problem what so ever. You could see everything in the parking lot very well and everything was in a gated area. The breakfast was good. Several nights we sat downstairs in the lobby and the people at the front brought us the TV changer and made sure we didn't need anything. The room is just an average hotel room. Nothing fancy but was perfect for what we needed. Overall good experience.

"Nice hotel very close to Riverwalk and Alamo"
We checked in on a Thursday - got to the hotel around 1:30pm and were told to come back at 3pm, as that was check-in time. They kindly offered to keep our luggage behind the desk (we declined, but nice of them to offer). Check-in was simple and quick. The room was a nice size - very nice kitchenette. The bed was very comfortable, and we had a sofa with a pull-out bed. The front desk staff, while very nice, was not very knowledgeable about the area, which was a bit disappointing. They weren't able to offer any recommendations as far as restaurants or entertainment/sight-seeing. We were told by one to ask them for coupons if we wanted, but when we did the next day, the young man seemed very surprised and was rifling through a drawer at the front desk to look for coupons - unfortunately we only walked away with a pamphlet for tours. Oh well. One thing we didn't like was that the hotel says on their website they offer a full hot breakfast - not true. They only offered a continental, which was ok, I guess, but very disappointing. One final thought - we were offered valet parking for $27ish per day, with in-and-out access, but opted to stay in the parking garage across the street for only $10 per day. Almost everything is within walking distance. Just something to keep in mind. Overall, we had a great stay. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here in the future.

"Really nicely renovated"
This is a cool classic hotel that's been around forever, but the renovations in the rooms are really well done. We had a junior suite and it was first class.

"Nice hotel near the riverwalk"
Room was nice and big, bathroom was really small. It is a few blocks away from the shops on the river walk but you can still walk along the river from the hotel which is nice. Pretty good breakfast in the morning. Downside was no safe in the room and bathroom was s so small was hard to get in and close the door.
