Hotel is nice, but receptionist was pretty bad, not really knowing anything about places to eat around (Where can I eat around? There is this restaurant. Is it open? I don't know. etc). It didn't help that during last day of our stay (1st), wifi was not working, because their provider gives them new passwords every month but something went wrong this time...
The hotel staff were extremely helpful. They were quick to lend a hand in many different areas from requiring an extension lead through to recommending places to see and do.
The hotel is close to a beautiful park and walking distance to the convention centre.
The hotel is also convenient to the metro and buses.

The hotel was clean and quiet, near the park and a beautiful street. The hotel breakfast was plentiful and excellent quality, the room clean. The only down side were the overly soft pillows and the fact that the room was too hot at night. The air con was not working at this time of year and the only way to cool the room down was to open the windows and then insects became an issue. Otherwise a good choice hotel, with very helpful staff and service.
"Very well located hotel in the best area of Lyon"
Where to stay when you have 2 days in Lyon and arrive by plane or train? This hotel is great. 20 minutes walk from the railway station, in the best residential part of Lyon, close to the big park, in an old building. Nice rooms, nice staff, excellent breakfast. Very good value for money

"Don't stay here if you aren't going toa conference"
Great location for conference, literally walk out of the door and there you are. 15min bus ride downtown. Right across the road from a beautiful park for walking or bike riding.
The staff are friendly but not always particularly efficient at what they do. There is a concierge desk but no real concierge service offered. everything from the 'concierge' seemed an extra effort with little follow up.
Little things in the room were funny, some days you get a chocolate and a water and other days you don't.
The air con struggled to keep up despite being on the absolutely lowest setting. A few calls down to the front desk made no difference at all. They didn't or couldn't do anything about it and again nobody bothered to call me back to let me know.
Breakfast was very limited and it always seemed to be a huge extra effort to cook me poached eggs rather than eating the mass cooked scrambled eggs. No fish options with breakfast.
There is nowhere other than the hotel to have breakfast which finished very early (930am). The lower levels do not have a view of the park despite extra charges for a park view.
