Alpine Lake encompasses almost 2,000 acres of wooded land, 150 acre lake with a beach, 35 miles of paved roads, 17 miles of hiking/biking trails, an 18-hole golf course with driving range and a Lodge with an indoor pool/gym. It offers dozens of amenities including kayaking, fishing, golfing, snow shoeing, cross-country skiing, pickleball, dining, and so much more! The beach is free to all guests and is about a 2 min drive from the house (though walkable, it’s a very steep walk back). Kayaking, paddle boating, golfing, etc. are seasonal and additional $. The house was as advertised - a cozy, well-appointed, pet-friendly place to get away as a family for fires, games, music listening, and hot tubbing. The Alpine Lake Community is great, although we didn't get to experience the pool, beach, lake, or anything because it snowed 5 inches while we were there! I did enjoy the hiking trails, and the community plowed the roads multiple times during the snow. The only issue we had was the hot tub was only at 80 degrees when we arrived (as an energy conservation measure), but I was able to easily and quickly increase the temp overnight so we could use it by the second day. Try the amazing bean bag chair in the loft - it was sooo comfortable! ##### Adam R.
