Stay away from this hotel!

Posted 5-May-2017 on Hotels
I wouldn't stay here again! This is not 4 star hotel more like 2 star. Our room was dirty, you can actually sweep of dust with your fingers, our room was not cleaned it had rubbish in the bins from previous occupiers. Their shower, toilets everything is dated. The only positive is location. We didn't even try their breakfast as we were disappointed with over all stay.

Stay away! Far, far away!

Posted 6-Apr-2017 on Hotels
This place is awful. Dirty and shady part of town. Falsely advertised as a 4 star hotel. Maybe it was a hundred years ago, but to today's standards, saying it is a disappointment is an understatement. Next to zero amenities, not even wifi in the rooms. Other than the historical land marks, Rome is a horrible place. But if you do come to this sad excuse of a city for vacation stay away from champagne palace!!

Nice hotel for head down and having breakfast.

Posted 26-Mar-2017
Pros: Quiet and friendly
Cons: The hotel is getting old and could be done with an upgrade.
Location: Close to all shopping and places of interest.
Comfortable and clean hotel, ideal for city break which is close to the bus and train station. This was the second time at this hotel and would certainly use it again.

Decent hotel for the money. Second time I've stayed here. Like the location to the main termini. Stayed in other hotels, like this one.

Clean, and quite nice

Posted 7-Mar-2017 on Hotels
It was good; not exactly like the pictures, but still quite good. The local area wasn't amazing, but it was quite close to the Colosseum and transport services. The food, honestly, wasn't that great; barely satisfactory. The staff were great though, and we feel that they really bumped up our rating of the hotel. It was also very clean, which, for me, is a priority.

Basic, yet clean and ideally located.

Great location near Vatican/colleseum etc. Rooms are very dated and small. However clean and comfortable enough if you are there for the sight seeing and just need somewhere to rest after a long days touring

Nice Hotel for the price

Posted 10-Feb-2017
Pros: Price and Location
Cons: Rooms could do with a freshen up
Location: Close to train station, restaurants and within walking distance of many of the sights you want to see when in Rome.
Rooms are a reasonable size with a large double bed, safe and fridge. The continental breakfast had a selection of croissants and cakes as well as cereal, rolls, cheese, egg and cold meats. There was a lift to all floors.
