There was no electricity the first couple of hours but that was a minor annoyance. It was walking distance to a coffee shop, restaurants, and store. This is a good base location for traveling in the Big Bend area. Overall, a good experience for me. The location is about 20 minutes away from Big Bend and is located right next to several fabulous restaurants (Starlight Theater, Cafe Y poco mas). Everything at the property was incredibly clean, and there were no issues sharing a bathroom with other guests. The shared outdoor spaces were wonderful for watching stars. The location is right in the ghost town! Food and entertainment are right there! The view is unbelievable! I have never seen better. The room was great. Everything we needed! Outdoor kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of places to sit to taking in all of the beauty. The patio was comfortable and also had great sitting options. ##### Madeline W. We stayed there for 5 days. Only reason I do not give it five stars is the oven didn’t work, one grill didn’t work and one had one side that worked. Electricity went out around dark thirty for the entire night which made the room uncomfortably warm for an uncomfortable night sleep with the family.
