Located in the Natural Park of the Two Ourthes, it offers endless walking opportunities in serene green surroundings. Het huis zelf is heerlijk rustig gelegen met genoeg ruimte in en om het huis. Een mooie grote tuin, terrassen waarop je fijn kan zitten en genieten van de rust en de natuur. De omgeving is heel mooi en je kunt er fijn wandelen. Enige puntje is dat je dan wel eerst een stukje langs de N-weg moet, maar het is geen hele drukke weg en over het algemeen houdt het verkeer goed rekening met wandelaars langs de weg. En daarna is het heerlijk vertoeven in de bossen en heuvels. Onze kinderen (9 en 11) vonden het hier ook geweldig en hebben veel lol beleefd bij het nabijgelegen riviertje. Er zijn genoeg leuke uitstapjes te ondernemen in de nabije omgeving (binnen een half uur met de auto), zoals de grotten van Hotton, de ruïne van La Roche-en-Ardenne, kajakken op het stuwmeer bij Nisramont en de Ourthe die daarin uitkomt (tijdens ons verblijf was de waterstand in de rivieren te laag, maar dan biedt het stuwmeer uitkomst). Leider denken sowohl der Eigentümer als auch Belvilla unterschiedlich darüber. Es war für uns sehr enttäuschend und daher auf keinen Fall eine Wiederholung wert. Minder van de tuin gebruik gemaakt vanwege de tijd van het jaar maar heerlijk bij de open haard gezeten. Ook de hondjes hebben zich prima vermaakt in de grote afgesloten tuin en ook zij waren blij hier weer te zijn. Weer mooie wandelingen gemaakt in de omgeving. Mooi karakteristiek huis met bijbehorende inrichting. Wij houden ervan. Goed uitgeruste keuken, koelkast met apart groot diepvriesvak. Ten opzichte van vorig jaar heeft Frédéric weer aanpassingen gemaakt. Het bad is vervangen door een mooie douchecabine en boven is nieuw laminaat gelegd of de vloer mooi opgeschuurd. Eine fantastische Plattform mit vielen Sitzplätzen, wo man immer die Sonne und die Umgebung genießen konnte. Das Haus war manchmal in den Ecken nicht ganz sauber und es gab einige überfällige Wartungsarbeiten, aber das war für uns kein Problem. Der Kühlschrank und andere Küchenschränke waren perfekt sauber und alles, was man brauchte, war reichlich vorhanden. Aus jedem Fenster hatte man einen wunderschönen Ausblick. Die unmittelbare Umgebung bietet viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche mit unserem Golden Retriever, der den Garten genießen konnte. Es sieht aus wie ein kleines Schloss, ein geräumiges Haus mit einem riesigen Garten in einer ruhigen Gegend. Die Einrichtung ist etwas veraltet und etwas staubig, aber das hat den Spaß nicht getrübt. Zwei Esel als Nachbarn. Der Strand ist zu Fuß erreichbar, aber leider nur ein kurzer Weg, um tatsächlich zum Wasser zu gelangen. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich.
