"An elegant, modern hotel, bang in the city centre."
We wanted to be in the thick of things and this hotel was ideal. Less than five minutes walk took us to three beautiful shopping malls, the city's bus station and the hop on hop off tourist bus which stopped right outside the hotel. We didn't eat in the hotel. Breakfast was 16 euros a head and there was a perfect pavement cafe just behind the hotel serving coffee and a delicious pastry which suitred us better. Our room on the 7th floor was clean and very spacious with a table and two armchairs. We had two large singles beds which were very comfortable and there was a blackout blinds which helped us sleep. No traffic noise if windows were closed. We had very cold windy weather for our first week so took the opportunity to explore the island - took buses to Los Cristianos, playa America and Puerto Cruz plus a tram ride to La Laguna and it's world heritage centre. On the sea front is an amazing complex of lagoon- like pools set in an exotic park of palms and gardens. Not to be missed - and so cheap to go in! The roof top terrace was pleasant though windy and we made full use of the warm-water jacuzzis which seemed to be little used by other guests so we generally had them to ourselves. All in all, despite bad weather, we had a great time and would glkadly go back.

"Excellent hotel with terrific view on the sea"
I spent 9 days in this German owned hotel and got a very good room with a fantastic view on the sea for a very reasonable rate. I would recommend the hotel, however if, like me, you are travelling in November or later in the winter, I strongly recommend to doublecheck weather forecasts, as Tenerife can be very rainy in those months: 5 out of 9 days of my stay were characterised by persistent rain, and very often the only way to see the sun was to drive up to the island's volcano, known as "El Teide" (altitude 3700 metres)

"Great location and staff"
Room was spacious, clean although basic. Location was great for walking districts (limited vehicle access). Our luggage did not arrive with us on our flights. Front desk staff were very helpful assisting us with receiving the luggage later; printed our boarding passes and booked a taxi for our early departure flight. Plenty of dining choices within 5 minutes walk of hotel.

"Excellent hotel with its own beach "
Very strange eating arrangements with booking. Meal at the hotel being early impossible. I tried to book a meal for before 8.00 pm with three days notice and was offered a 9:30 pm slot. So I gave up trying to eat at the hotel and went to the local restaurants instead. Which at least was half the cost. Breakfast was the best value for money but with wine at €15 a glass it was easier and cheaper to buy the wine at a local supermarket.

"Centrally Located"
Good, comfortable and friendly hotel, centrally located. Pool bar staff believe in 'manana' which ticked me off a bit but as I chilled, I became more accepting. Coming from London, my expectation is service orientated; they got there but in their own time. Inside was a different story as they were quick and efficient. The entertainment was fun and the breakfast was plentiful. My only real reservation was no kettle in the room. I bring my own tea and much prefer to fend for myself, first thing.

"Perfect relaxing break"
Wedding anniversary break in the Red Level. Warm welcome from all staff members and nice refreshing glass of cava upon arrival. Monica on reception was extremely informative about the hotel facilities. Room was very spacious and clean. Pillows were not great, reminded me of hospital pillows, but bed was very comfy. Welcoming treats and bottle of champagne courtesy of hotel for our anniversa All areas around the hotel pool and gardens were immaculate. Breakfast had a great choice of cooked breakfast, cereals, fruit, pastries and even cava for breakfast. Pool service was very attentive without being too fussy. We ate one night in the buffet restaurant and the food choice and quality was very good. I would imagine if you stayed during the busy summer months it would be a nightmare re seating and waiting on food but during quieter months it was perfect. We dined out at Sauco and Lulupo as recommended on trip advisor. Tried to book Lulupo for our anniversary but reception said it was fully booked. We decided to risk a short walk down to Alacala and see for ourselves. We got there about 9 and there were plenty of empty tables and had a very enjoyable meal. Went to a nearby bar and had a great time. We were only here for a short weekend break and I think I could only imagine staying for a max of 5 days as it is too quiet in this area. Saying that we had a lovely time and exceeded our expectations and would definitely recommend and would love to return.

"Lovely stay with teenage boys"
Great location clean well staffed hotel. Lovely breakfast and bars, fab reception area and overall great stay. However we were B&b and were really disappointed that some of facilities were charged and so we could not afford to use them like we planned eg 6euro per person for gym, 6 euro per person for spinning, 12 euro per hour to use tennis courts. Never been charged before and with 4 of us being very fit and always active in gym etc there was no way we could afford to use the very facilities we had booked the hotel to use. Other than that it was fab
