We were traveling with two other couples so the flex-bedrooms that could be made with king beds were really nice for our group. The property manager was responsive and helpful with all our questions while planning our stay. We found the property well maintained and clean. The view is gorgeous. The funicular is helpful and while very slow, does make it convenient getting in and out. It's not as "ski in/ski out" as some other places that we have stayed because of this, but I'd still stay here again. The dial-a-ride service was fantastic and very prompt. Property management company was very responsive for a couple of minor repair issues. So what’s the catch. If the funicular is not running, it’s ski out and hike in. Hot tub is perfect for after skiing and it's extremely easy to get to and from the lifts. Truly a Ski In and Ski Out location. My only knock was the little shuttle lift to the gondola (I'm not sure the official name for it) was out of service while we were there so it was a pain to get to town (we had to drive and was about a 12 minute drive around the mountain) but I cannot knock the house for that -- if it was running it'd be an easy commute to the gondola.
