From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was the perfect getaway for my friend and I. Tucked away in this little community, the cabin offered the perfect balance of rustic charm and made us feel both cozy and spoiled at the same time. The views were absolutely breathtaking. Every morning, we woke up to the sight of the fresh powder. There was something so peaceful and serene about watching the snow fall outside the windows as we sipped our morning coffee with the fireplace on. It truly felt like we had our own little slice of winter wonderland. The cabin itself was so thoughtfully designed—warm and inviting, with plenty of space for both of us to relax and unwind. We spent hours lounging by the fire, playing games that were available in the cabin, and watching Gilmore Girls. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils/cookware, and we had so much fun cooking meals together after exploring the town. We loved that the cabin felt like an oasis of tranquility, but still close enough to easily explore all that Telluride has to offer. This getaway was exactly what we both needed—a peaceful retreat with unforgettable views, the beauty of snowfall, and the perfect setting to relax. While the accommodation was very nice, it would have been helpful to include a comment about the closures in the description. We specifically selected the property due to the location: "Walk to Gondola." Not being from the area, we were unaware that the gondola closes for a few weeks. We were disappointed.
