Overall this was a great place. For the most part it is a quiet get away with plenty to do. We were unfortunate in that our timing was not the best. Just so happened to be a large graduation celebration going on and all of the participants arrived at the same time as we did. So check in was very crazy. They are strict on their three o’clock check in time so this means everyone arrives at the same time. We arrived early but could not check in until 3. It was insane! We were surprised that the graduation event itself didn’t disrupt much, however, many of the graduates stayed on for a couple days and wrapped up their stay with an all night party which disturbed everyone in our building. Hotel did nothing to shut it down. Very disappointed with that. I would recommend this facility but double check with them to make sure this mid June graduation isn’t happening at the same time as your stay.

Overall the property is is unique location or i could say outstanding location where you will never find a place like Lapota in the middle of nature. One thing i didnt like is the staff hygiene in which the bar tender is washing the glass with water only and serving the drink to the next customer. Also the room cleaning service need to improve alot, the staff did not clean the room and washroom floor, and did not change the bed sheet even it was dirty. Thanl you lapota team for the great experience. I can call the resort (Paradise at earth).

Great BUT Food.

At first, we were all enjoying our time and mesmerised by the views but then we had dinner at the chateau. And that’s when our whole view became different. The steak and salmon were frozen and not up to par at all. The next day, we had breakfast and our review couldn’t get any worse for their “continental” breakfast style. Most of the buffet wasn’t fresh, and wasn’t really appetizing to say the least. Very unfortunate to have this kind of food at this kind of resort.

Tranquil and relaxing resort

Tranquil and relaxing resort with many activities planned for guests. I love the gardens and flowers around the estate. The staff are also extremely helpful. We were back from dinner and carrying a few items. One of the bellboy whom ferried us to our rooms earlier remembered us and took us back to our block by the buggy!

I have to say that the only 2 things that bothered me about this place was that it wasn’t clean enough for a place of such status- in the bathroom there were bugs on the wall, and there were some leftovers from previous guests. The other issue i had is the way “hotels” / the property handled my booking- apperantly they took only 50% of the value of the booking when i ordered via the application, and the other 50% i had to pay upon check in- no one cared to inform me of that clearly, and actually that was my first time managing the payment fory staying in such way (not to mention that when i asked the propery manager why is that, he said that this is the way they mamage with ordered coming from expendia=hotels, but from booking on the other hand, they can charge the whole amount. It makes a difference because via card they charge only local currency, and by cash you need to plan bring extra for it or you gonna be out of budget). The rest of the place is just nothing more then amazing! Would definitely recommend and come agagin (probably not from expedia/hotels though)

3 days is plenty

Perfect place for couples or two families with children..I would advise a few things? 24 hour room service for food delivery...Gift shop should have some LOGO souvenier clothing and snack , cokes etc.
